Urticaria is a kind of skin rashes notable for pale red, raised, itchy bumps. It may cause a burning, itching or stinging sensation. They are mostly caused by allergic reaction. Most cases of acute urticaria lasting less than six weeks but Chronic urticaria may lasting longer than six weeks to six months or more. Majority of skin rashes (urticaria) inducing factors are drugs, insect bite, food chemicals, cold, water, sunburn and lastly underlying infection.
